Hyena Records recording artist Dale Watson has won the Independent Music Award for Best Country Album during The 9th Annual Independent Music Awards for The Truckin' Sessions: Vol. 2!
Now in their 9th year, the IMAs are a well respected independent music competition created by Music Resource Group publisher of The Musician’s Atlas and co-sponsored by eMusic, Pump Audio, The Planetary Group, HIP Video Promo, college booking agency, NACA among many others. Judges for this years competition included Tom Waits, The Black Keys, Ricky Scaggs, Charlie Musselwhite, Aimee Mann, M Ward, Suzanne Vega, Shelby Lynne, Lee Ritenour and Hyena Records own James "Blood" Ulmer.
In addition to the judged section of the IMAs, there is also the "Vox Populi" awards that is judged by the public and allows YOU to vote for your favorite artist in each category. Help us win the "Vox Pop" for Best Country Album as well and vote for Dale Watson below.
